Bandung Regency was rocked by an earthquake measuring M5.0 on September 18, 2024, which hit 9 sub-districts. According to data from the Bandung Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) as of September 25, 2024, out of a total of 45,325 people affected, 11,681 people are still displaced.
As a form of concern for the victims, especially babies and children, PT Lucky Mom Indonesia, through its well-known baby diaper product MAKUKU, donated 1,000 diapers and baby clothes to severely affected families in Kertasari District. This donation aims to ease the burden of parents who are facing difficult situations after the disaster.
The natural disaster that hit Bandung Regency has caused many families to lose their homes and access to basic needs. In this situation, the needs of infants and toddlers are often a priority that is difficult to meet. With the donation of baby diapers and clothing, PT Lucky Mom Indonesia hopes to contribute to meeting the basic needs of babies, providing the comfort and protection needed in the midst of emergency conditions. So that parents can focus more on recovery efforts.
Titi Nurmalasari, Head of Communication of PT Lucky Mom Indonesia, stated, “We are very concerned about the situation experienced by earthquake victims in Bandung Regency, especially families with infants and toddlers. As a form of our social responsibility, this donation of diapers and baby clothes is a small step from PT Lucky Mom Indonesia to help those in need.
“We hope that, through this assistance, parents can focus more on recovery while maintaining the comfort of their babies. And the people affected by the disaster remain vigilant against all possibilities that occur,” he added.
The distribution of logistical assistance to the victims was carried out in coordination with the Acting Head of BPBD Bandung Regency Drs. H. Uka Suska Puji Utama, M.Si and received directly by the Head of Sub-District, Mr. Heri Mulyadi, S.IP. They expressed their gratitude for PT Lucky Mom Indonesia's concern and hoped that the distribution of social assistance to refugee tents in Kertasari District could ease the burden on disaster-affected communities. As well as ensuring that the assistance is right on target and can be used immediately by affected families, especially for families with children who need extra attention.

This donation is very helpful for affected families, especially those with young children. This assistance not only eases the burden on parents, but also shows the solidarity and concern of the private sector for the welfare of disaster-affected communities.”
With this assistance, PT Lucky Mom Indonesia hopes to make a real contribution in accelerating the recovery process of earthquake victims, especially for children who are the most vulnerable group to the impact of natural disasters. Children not only face physical health risks due to limited access to basic needs such as diapers, clothing and food, but also need emotional support in dealing with the trauma they experience. As well as helping to create more stable and safe conditions.
