Last December 21, 2021, Makuku again held a talk show with Global Radio on the theme “Mental Health for Women”. Along with the presenters Aji Sabha and Aisha Lahtiba, there were also speakers such as Syafaati Suryo (News Anchor iNews), dr. Nicholas Hardi, SpKJ (Psychiatry) and Chairunissa (Brand Representative - Makuku Family). In this short 1 hour talkhsow, the discussion about the importance of mental health for millennials during a pandemic is important, especially for women who have families.

Syafaati, who is familiarly called Syafa, explained about the changes experienced as parents and working women, especially during the pandemic. In the past (before the pandemic), when you were under a little stress, you could go outside. However, currently it is quite difficult to do.

"The most important thing is that there is a support system, such as husbands and parents," added Syafa. "Sometimes we need entertainment too, especially for millennial parents (the stress) can be heavier." He told Global listeners that morning.

Indeed, being a mother is not an easy thing to do. There are many challenges and also various things that affect Mommy's mood and mental state.

According to dr. Nicho, one way that can be done to maintain mental health is to be aware of the emotional changes that occur. By being aware of the changes that occur, millennials can look for fun things as a positive emotional stimulus, so they can spend the day comfortably.

“Humans in general have different targets at different ages. When we are teenagers, we are more looking for identity and want to have deep close relationships so that when they are in their 30s they can focus more, so that when they are old they can reflect on life.” clear dr. Nicho.

He also added, “These millennial parents are starting to shift with the father (situation) taking on the role. It's hard (as parents) if it's done together, it's better."

During a pandemic, you are more likely to have an attachment to your partner, especially because you meet every day. This is something you need to have, especially if you also feel thephenomenon baby blues.

Syafa also told his experience when he experienced this, where at that time he was also confused about the little one who liked to cry. It turned out that when explored further, the little one could not stand a diaper that felt heavy/full. "Especially if a rash occurs in a sensitive area, sometimes you don't know what to do," added Syafa.

Regarding this, Chairunnisa as the Brand Representative of Makuku Indonesia explained that Makuku is here to answer the needs of millennial parents as a health care center that can provide education about family health so that they can become parents' friends.

"Diapers are important for newborns up to 2 years old. A comfortable and healthy child can make parents calm," added Chairunnisa. He added that diapers should be chosen based on the child's weight, not age. In addition, choose diapers that have high absorption, because the diaper area likes moisture and is quite sensitive. In addition, of course, diapers must be ergonomically designed so that the child is comfortable.

Last December, Makuku just launched the Makuku Air Diapers product, a diaper with the latest generation of SAP core structure that is different from the usual diapers. According to Chairunnisa, with the SAP core structure, Makuku Air Diapers are very good for your little one's skin because apart from being extra dry, super thin, they are also anti-clotting to provide comfort for your little one. Chairunnisa believes that this can relieve the role of parents who often feel stressed in raising their children.

Dr. Nicho also adds that heart-to-heart talk with your partner can help reduce stress. Syafa also admitted that talking did help, not only to his partner but also to his parents and friends.

At the end of the session, Syafa advised women out there who might feel stressed, due to work or other matters related to family and personal problems, “There are a lot of activities and work (but) don't forget to self-love. Take care of your health and rest is also important.”

If you want to hear other talk shows with Makuku and Global Radio, look forward to the session next year. Don't forget to get Makuku Air Diapers products at Mommy and Daddy's favorite shop. (YM/MKK)
