So there are good and bad working mothers. There must be someone who always says,

"Why don't you stay home with the kids?"

"Don't be too busy, your child won't take care of it, you know."

But even if we don't work, we still get bad comments.

All mothers want to spend a lot of time with their children, but working mothers have their own reasons why they work. And the debate about being a housewife or working mom never ends.

During my time at work, I once dreamed of being able to work from home. I also thought about opening my own business so that I could earn while accompanying my children at home. And, until finally Indonesia was hit by the Corona virus. Where all companies require most of their employees to Work From Home aka WFH.

At first, I was very happy to see the child wake up. Understandably, my son likes to get up late and I usually just go to work. Sometimes we meet at night for only a short time and then the little one has to go to bed quickly. This part is probably what always makes working mothers heavy heart to leave the little one. Moms have experienced it too right?

However, a few days after WFH, I felt a bit overwhelmed working at home. Because during WFH the work seems to be piling up more than usual. Feeling work is busier than working in the office. Maybe because we have to coordinate with the work team through conference calls continuously. Sometimes I even have to get up early so I can start work, so I can play for a while with my little one during the day. I also hope to be able to finish work on time, but the working hours can be longer and finish at night. Then how about the time with the little one? It turns out that the time to play and take care of the little one is only a little.

Especially if you are dizzy with work and your little one invites you to play or is fussy. Duh, I feel like splitting myself wrote. In fact, I often get angry with my little one during WFH. Working while taking care of children at home is not as easy as imagined and not as beautiful as the reality. Wanting to be a multitasking mom is also not that fast. As a working mom, I was quite surprised to get new knowledge like this. Not to mention the guilt feeling as a mother. Those who say work for children but like to get angry and annoyed when they are tired and are invited to play with children.

However, after WFH went on for a while, I was able to adjust to the new routine. Honestly, I love being home all day so I can be closer to my little one, so the first to know that your little one can do this and enjoy all their growth. I am grateful, still given the time and opportunity like that. Carrying out the role of mother while working for the family.

Makuku Family

A mother should always learn and grow. For that, I often find out about parenting so that I can still carry out my obligations as a working mother. I usually see education about parenting and children on Makuku.Indonesia.Official Instagram. In addition, I also join the Makuku membership where I can add friends and exchange experiences with other moms. Even I can consult for free with the experts who work with the Makuku Family.

For moms who take care of children at home, moms who work or who are reaching their dreams, whatever you do, of course you know it's best for your family. Moms are great mothers to your children. Remember, being a mother is not a profession but a gift. (Aq/MKK)
