The skin is the outermost part of the body that plays an important role as part of the defense. The skin functions as a body protector that protects the inner body such as bones, organs, muscles, joints, nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue. The skin also acts as a natural protector of the body from exposure to radiation, toxic substances, and various viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites that cause infections. For this reason, we should take care of the baby's soft and sensitive skin to keep it healthy.

Healthy skin can support the growth and development of toddlers. Because healthy skin helps the body in absorbing nutrients from food. It is also important to know that the skin is the site of vitamin D synthesis, which is important for calcium absorption and healthy bone growth. healthy skin also contributes to a child's psychological health. Babies who feel comfortable in their skin are happier, which also supports their emotional and social development. So, that's why it's important to provide proper skincare from infancy.
